End Of 2010

Last post of the year...maybe?

I guess I would just encourage people to leave a comment here, and let me know who you are.  What you like, and don't.

Looking ahead; 2011 should be a better year, economically, here in the US.  I can only hope Obama can keep eeking out successes, maybe with some valid ideas from Congress (not scummy lobbyists). The big spending has got to stop though.  It's just a matter of a few years, before we CAN'T borrow all that money.  Then the shit will really hit the fan.

Taxes have to go up, and waste/failed programs need to change, or end.  Once we get rid of the National Debt, we can cut taxes dramatically.  Hopefully Congress will pass a real binding balanced budget rule.  No more over spending..  I don't have a lot of hope though.  America won't fail because of its Constitution, but if it does, it will be because that document didn't account for greed.

TV On The Radio

I can't believe this has less than a 1/2 million hits?

Interview: Michigan's Outgoing Governor, Jennifer Granholm

I have so much respect for the job Governor Granholm has done, to trudge Michigan through the mess of the last 8 years. The problems there started back around 1977. It's why I won't go back, except to visit.

Sad thing is, a whole lot of people in Michigan are too stupid to see what she accomplished.  That would be avoiding bankruptcy for the State...

The Continuing Resolution...

Since Republicans in Congress blocked the proposed 2011 Budget at the last minute (after working on it secretly all year), the branches of the Federal Government are stuck in time, right through March 2011. The time they are stuck in is October 2009 for them.

Because of what Congress did, NASA (just one example) has to continue funding a project that President Obama killed. They have no choice. It's only a $500 Million, no big deal.

The Bloody Fish

Um, there is blood (lots) and fish, and I am confused. It's very well made though, and I always like the production shots at the end.

Taking The Sexy Out Of Manga And Anime??

Millions of people will have no need to keep their computers, in Japan.

I can understand the big producers pulling out of the Tokyo International Anime Fair. If they actually have their own, it will be a lot more fun.
