I really wish them luck, it will be an interesting time for sure. And I am not saying they will fail.. I hope they were trained in self defence, because some guys on Subs are real assholes.

Having served, it will be an interesting process.  Not wanting to exclude women, but factually, it was easier to not have have the temptation.  I'm not saying don't do this, but people have to realize there will be bad incidents.  Only because humans are flawed...it's inevitable.

I was on the boat when this pic was taken.  The guys in the picture are the XO (front left), our LPO Quarter Master in the rear and Admiral Rickover front right. 

We were not told Rickover would be on board, only found out when the Cooks had to peel grapes for this asshole/genius.

The USS Hartford Has A Problem

Um, another crash?? They ran aground off Italy in 2003. The thing to realize is, nothing runs into a Submarine that is underway. The Sub can only run into other things. It's the nature of the mission and the way they operate.
