It's surrounded by ice flows! Maybe it flaked off because it was just pointing up too high? Maybe a bunch of Polar Bears jumped up and down at the same time?

In this pic (click it to enlarge it) you see B-9B back in 2002. It bounced around and hit the Mertz tongue (sitting to the left of C-08, which floated away already) breaking both free. They should drift north towards Australia and New Zealand. Don't panic, this happens every 50 years or so.

Maybe we could try a floating Olymic Games next time?

The second time in 78 years that this has happened, icebergs!! Last time was in 2006, three years ago (ahem?). The last time before that was 79 years ago. Duh, talk about fact manipulation?? 78 years ago was just after WWI and right before the Great Depression. I wonder why there was lull in sightings?

I used to have respect for CNN, but they don't even allow comments on this story. Not good guys, my stupid little Blog allows that...
