What We Won't Do To Save New Orleans

A 25'-ish flood wall stretching as far as they eye can see..

I was looking through the page after page of photos, depicting the billions of dollars we are spending to safeguard New Orleans (see below).

The cost of these flood gates and walls is astounding, but we are pouring billions into the project. All to save a city that is already below sea level, and still sinking. Pure insanity..nature will win this battle, again and again. Move the city inland, and let the old one flood.

We can't afford to keep shoring up failed cities...move out of the flood plains!
