US Poverty Levels

(Sorry up front for an angry post, but I am angry)

It jumps one percent in a year. So a tad over 15% of American Families are making $22,314 or less, for a family of four. And Less than $11,139 for a single person. That is 50 Million people, living in poverty, in this country (the exact same number of people have no heath care).  Top it off, another 5% of americans (lower case on purpose)  are inches from being at the poverty level.

Greatest nation in the world?  Just kiss my fucking ass. That number should be ZERO.  Ron Paul can suck it, with the notion of no minimum wage.

And while all this is going on, we hear the rich people bitch that they want more tax cuts. If anyone remembers the "Great Depression", it was caused by one thing; too much wealth gathered at the top earners, and the little fishes in the pool all drowned. Learn from history folks...
