Um, yeah, we have no God to tie us to a concept of what others think is "right or wrong". We value acceptance within the rightful laws on humans. Equality, peace and justice. Deal with it and stop your prejudice. It's what drove us away from religion in the first place.

120mm Mortar Blows A Crucifix
Coincidence? It's visualizes my whole rant on Religion leading to War. This is right off the USMC Flickr page (which I enjoy a lot). No photoshop.

Hutaree = Busted

http://www.freep.com/article/20100329/NEWS05/100329007/1318/Alleged-militia-members-indicted-in-attack-plot
They believe in hoarding Oil, why they want to attack the Police to start an uprising against the government is beyond me? http://www.hutaree.com/doctrine.htm
Why are all terrorist acts linked to religion? Why do we need organized religion? The conclusion is obvious to me; organized religion leads to terrorism.

May That Be With You
I suppose it's no worse than any other religion on earth, so what the hell. Let us be Jedi!

Why the coppers though? Should they designate if they are "dark side" or not? Do these blokes get special helmets and cool utility belts? Do they call the Seargeant "My Lord"? And does the Seargeant mind it?
I guess the light sabers won't break any UK gun laws, so go for it!

Muslims Beyond Reproach?
Should any religion be beyond negative comments on it's origin?
I know I have a big problem with a lot of history in the Christian religions. Hell, I have problems with a lot of what is going on today (and I don't just mean Catholics). Toss in Jews, Baptist, Jehova, Latter Day whatevers...
So in India, two people are being held for reprinting a factual article that was critical of several religions; http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/7883612.stm?lss
The original article in question is still here, by Johann Hari, on the Independent; http://www.independent.co.uk/opinion/commentators/johann-hari/johann-hari-why-should-i-respect-these-oppressive-religions-1517789.html Not a long read, but enlightening.
Does anyone else see a positive result in not having any religion at all? I know I don't need it and feel better off/liberated/free for it. Is it still worth fighting, dying, or jail time for?
Think of how the world would look if we all spent that time not praying, but picking up the trash around our neighborhood? Better yet, spend that time helping someone who has less that you? Or just needs some help. Wouldn't that time outside of any church count towards doing something good, no matter what religion you examine??
