I would also note, my "representative", Donna Edwards voted against the bill, because Fed Employees had to take a pay freeze.

Maybe Donna hasn't spent as much time around Federal staff as I have, or maybe more?  Does she know these people in middle or senior positions ALL LIVE IN McMANSIONS dotted around Washington DC?  They are living very well, and have done so for decades. 

Holding off on pay increases will not destroy them, but some might have to do their own house cleaning, instead of hiring illegals.  I hope they can deal with that, I expect they will.

Um, where to start...
FAA/TSA = Privatised, that should be fun. What could possibly go wrong?
FDA = 50% cut from today.  Ecoli anyone?
NIH = 30% cut from today.  Sounds reasonable, I used to work there and it's a bureaucratic mess.
DOJ = Cuts a lot of programs, see link above.
DOA = Kills research/education and WIC.
DHS = 30% cut from today.  That's smart.
DOE = Eliminated.  Good luck refueling any Navy Nuclear ships/subs.
HUD = Eliminated.  We need to fix the bridges, so the poor people have something to live under.
Departments of Commerce, Interior and Education = Eliminated.  Bye to all the national parks, trade access and any semblance of learning standards.

As far as I can tell, it will let Doctors charge Medicare whatever they like for any service??  Am I wrong?

Then he states this: "No persons otherwise eligible for old-age benefits under Social Security shall be denied such benefits because of their voluntary refusal to participate in any part of the Medicare program."

I can only interpret that to mean, if you never "voluntarily" paid into Medicare, you can still have full benefits when you hit 65??  Where in the Constitution does it say this is ok?
