Tea Party Caucus Hipocracy

After all that bitching about abusing Congressional mail services, the Tea Party peeps are doing the EXACT SAME THING (to excess).  If the Tea Party wants to accomplish something, cut spending in the Appropriations Bills.  They are where the money is really spent, not at all based on the President's Budget. Or any other.

America At It's Worst

I really wish the Tea [Baggers] Party would go away. They should spend more time watching QVC and NASCAR.

Continuing Resolution

I am reading the CR Republicans are proposing, and I am baffled.  Not surprised.

What is really frustrating is the way they wrote it; So anyone reading it had to go digging into other documents, to find out what they proposed cutting. We really need to write these bills in plain fucking language. Say what you want to defund...

They want to cut the Child Care Aware hotline, that is a big help to Military Families, and the rest of America's parents.

They kill the funding for the Older Americans Act of 1965, which I assume they feel is redundant today??

They kill funding for the National Museum of African American History (enough said about the Tea Party not being racist?).

They kill Stem Cell research funding, not at all surprising.

They kill the Public Health Service Act "title XXI" (the State child health plan ).

They kill State school support, and some train/ferry/road repair funding assistance.

They kill block grants though EDI, I guess that just want poor people to go away and die.

It shorts the Smithsonian. I guess we don't need "history".

Idiot America

If you know ANYTHING about a vaccine, it involves only dead virus. That would be the result of a live virus being unable to live in the typical fridge. That is where vaccines are stored.

PS, Tea Party is abbreviated TP. We all know what TP is?

Mitch McConnell Took 48 Hours To Fold

I hope the Tea Party listened to Mitch "tiptoe" around raising the National Debt limit (which he will and he calls "discretionary spending" in the video below), and deflect all of your scathing criticism of Republicans.  Less than 2 days after the election, and Mitch is dismissing that it had anything with Republicans.  I guess he missed Delaware, Kentucky, Nevada, and the rest??  Was he ever watching the elections?  Please watch for a similar "lowering expectations" style speech from Boehner soon.

Mitch is at the link here:  Mitch at the Heritage Foundation, 11-4-10.

I have been harping on the National Debt issue for years, way before Dick Cheney said "Deficits don't matter" on every talk show he could find, in 2004. Do a search for it, if you doubt it, I was watching it closely back then. Was Dick right or wrong??

Well, seems Mitch must have napped through all the calls to C-Span from Tea Party members saying "We are watching you", to the Republicans.  I hope you (and I am talking to you Tea Party) rise up when Republicans raise the Debt Ceiling, just to give their big business buddies tax breaks.  That is what is most important to them, and you will see that if you watch closely.  We here in the middle get to pay for their Jaguars and Mansions, again and again.  They won't cut anything either, and anything that does get cut, they will blame on Democrats somehow.

They think (the Pubs) that they played everyone into a lather, and won.  Now they think they can cool off the Tea Party and get them to (again) bend over and take it for big business' bottom line. Hey, you never got a paycheck from a poor person, right?  Please don't get fooled again, and pay close attention to what Congress actually does, not the lies they tell you during campaigns.  Call them on the carpet in town halls, and contact them often.  Let them know what you think of what they voted on each day.  I do.

Look around you, see all the small businesses that folded before, or right after, Obama got sworn in?  Were those Obama's fault?  Seriously, were they?  No, they were not.  Small business' don't fold after a few bad quarters, it was a sustained effort that started after 2004.  Middle class wages flat-lined (or fell), and companies accelerated shipping jobs to South America and Asia.

Well, you guys need to watch this stuff as close as the others are, so we can all pounce on the bad ones together in 2012.

No Tea Party In Michigan..

Someone is playing games, and I think the Republicans are getting their way, blocking the Tea Party. Alienating their core base in the process. Should be an interesting election.

That's Not In The Constitution!

There are a lot of people out there bitching about "Obamacare". And that there is nothing in the Constitution about being forced to buying anything. YOU are right!

The following are also missing from the Constitution:

"You will have clean water available for your consumption." but you pay for it

"You will have electricity in your home." but you pay for it

"You will have Medicare for your medical insurance after you reach the age of XX." but you pay for it

"You will have TriCare available to your families and yourself if you have served long tern in the US Military, with distinction." but you pay for it

"All of the State's employees will be granted free Health Care, paid for on the backs of the rest of each state's residents." but you pay for it

"You will pay for an interstate highway system." but you pay for it

"You will pay for a Space Program." but you pay for it

"You will buy car Insurance." but you pay for it (if you have a car)

"You will buy life Insurance." but you pay for it (if you are alive)

There is also nothing in the Constitution about citizens having to take a few minutes to actually learn and understand what they are talking about. Thus we have crowds of lazy people chanting everything they heard from WAY WAY WAY richer people. They only want to stay rich, and depend on you to keep them rich.

These people know you are listening only, uneducated on the issues, and they bank on it every day. They cater to it. They rely on it. Don't let them play you...go read things for yourselves.

Tea-Party??

I have been listening to the convention on and off today and I keep hearing a theme;
Socialist = Bad
Taxes = Bad
God = Good

By definition; The fact that churches collect taxes from members and use that money to help (after the Pope and Pope-lings) people in need. Is that not socialism??

By-line, I don't see any black people, not even a token.
