It also cuts $1.5 Million from Pediatric Device research, and Pediatric Drug research. At least they screwed us across the aisle.

Line Item Veto (Kind Of)
This just gives the President a chance to say to Congress, I don't these parts of the Bill. Then if Congress still wants those parts, they vote to keep them. No harm done. Why are Democrats running away from this??http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/feb/8/house-passes-bill-giving-president-line-item-veto/# Story

Which Senators Still Won't Tax The Rich?
In a vote to help fund teachers and first responders (shocker) all the Republicans voted "NO";
http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=112&session=1&vote=00177
So did a few Democrats;
Joe LIEberman, is not running for re-election, so why would he want to tax rich people? He is one..
Ben Nelson from Nebraska, just wants the economy to fail, and must not like having a black President.
Mark Pryor of Arkansas must have had a bad lunch, or maybe he doesn't like a black President either?

Todd Platts (PA) Wants Illegal Aliens To Be Citizens
Todd has HR 411 submitted in the House, to allow 26 illegal aliens full citizenship and Social Security/Medicare benefits.
He is a Republican hell bent on helping issegals into the US. Look at the "Helping You" link on his site at the top. How do you Republicans let him get away with this??

An Open Letter To The LEFT
Ok, you are not happy about the elections, I get that. So what went wrong?
I can’t say this is happening everywhere, but here where I am, the young 18-25 year olds are not registering to vote. They are all afraid of having to do Jury Duty. I blame the parents for this, and listening to other youth.
The black vote didn’t turn out. I heard more than one black voter say “I have no reason to vote this year”. Um, really? The black vote is a huge reason Obama got into office. Why the hell wouldn’t you want to make it a bit easier to get work done??
Where do we go from here?
The far Left is pretty pissed, but you need to chill out. Congress and Obama are going to go a little to the Right, just to keep things moving along. Deal with it. The clock is ticking. 2012 should be fine if the big US Companies (who have kept unemployment high for 2 years for a reason, and that was 2 Nov 2010) start hiring again, things will improve.
The Left needs to just be patient. They need to get the youth registered to vote. And wait. In 15-20 years, the baby boomers will be tapering off, and the hippes of the 1960s/1970s will ring in the next big wave, as the elderly vote. It’s just a waiting game, and just a matter of time, until the Right becomes the fringe of society.
Short term: I hope all the Bush tax cuts expire. We have been under taxed for 12 years. We wouldn't have a deficit if we were not. And Small Businesses pay little or no tax, just like the big companies. They get tons of credits from Federal and State programs. Stop holding us hostage.
Tweak the Healthcare law, but repealing or "kicking" it will be impossible. I hope Republicans spend 2 years trying to pull that off. 2012 will be a cake walk.
Balance the budget, and make that the LAW: HHS, DOD, Welfare and Social Security need fixing/cutting. Start running a surplus and pay down the debt. These can be done fairly. The easiest; Discourage expansion of Welfare/Foodstamps, by not increasing payments if people pile up babies. You have one, you get this much, you have three kids, you get no more. A dick thing to say? Yep. Smart? Yep.
Notice I didn't mention Medicare? Keep your eyes open and you will see why.

The Democrats

I can't blame Judge Dread for withdrawing from Obama's Cabinet, not one little bit.
After hearing Nancie Pellosy (spelt wrong as an insult) today use the words "fiscally responsible" when talking about ANYTHING congress is doing these days, I puked.
I know what she wants under that gavel and it involves nuts and Pubs (an utter waste of time). She is why Obama's vision for governance is failing, her and Reed. Maybe a leash and whip would help, from what I hear, most Congressmen like that.

Democrat Vs Republican Federal Taxes?
Well, I pulled out all of my Federal tax returns that I have and here is the breakdown;

Click to enlarge it.
It kind of speaks for itself doesn't it? I have never made more than $100 in a year ever, and close to 1/2 that some years. Hmm, who is "Redistributing The Wealth??".
I should mention that big hike in 2005 was me cashing out my 401K (because the US dollar was tanking and so was my retirement savings, yours too). I want to thank GW for taking such a big slice! My money is better off in a savings account though, no stock market crap involved and earning a meager 5%. My savings are safe :) How's yours?
Try this for yourself and send it to me please.
