Um, finally saw this..in 2D. It stunk of Watership Down with a sprinkling of Quantum Leap and Star Wars. It is another sickening view of humanity that has been getting a lot of play, going all the way back to the original The Day The Earth Stood Still.
Am I the only one who sees the irony of portraying man's greed for a mere $1/2 Billion? Ahem...clearing my throat there. Glad I waited to borrow it, because had I paid a penny to see it, I would be rather pissed. Making it 3D would not change my opinion.
