Vertical Horizon have a bit of a Country twang to their tunes, but they should be accepted as more “main stream”. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09TYuAxNVMk I think they had moderate success on the “charts”, but I think they deserve more.

Voxtrot is a very young band, out of Texas. They are one of the few things to come out of the state in ages, besides gas, that I can get behind. Steven is a great tune..

It unfortunately demonstrates their one weakness. They need another voice in the mix because the music isn’t “deep” enough to carry most of the tunes. I have actually chatted with the band through the web, when I got restless for a full length CD. Now that I bought it and listened to it, I was 100% correct. They need another voice. I made a suggestion to a contact in LA, Taylor Lee, that she contact the band when they return from their EU tour. They would sound great together. Who knows..maybe something will come of it. The CD Underneath should have won Album Of The Year in 2001, but was completely overlooked. You can get it on Amazon.com for just over 3 bucks and when you listen to it, you will cry. The music is that damn good…
