Analog Africa
On a whim (probably an Amazon.com pub banner) I picked up "African Scream Contest". This CD rocks. A review from (shocker) BBC does it justice. You only have to read the last paragraph. http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/release/mf4h/ NOW I have to get the first two!
